Cultural Context: Across Canada there are areas labelled as 'book deserts': lower socio-economic neighbourhoods that lack easy access to up to date literature.
Idea: We created miniature Scotia book banks stocked with the Giller prize nominated novels and set them up in book deserts across Canada. We were able to provide 10+ communities in need with the year's best novels, and help put an end to book deserts as a whole.
